I’m Mohamad Jarad, a software engineer who enjoys the space between a complex problem and a useful product.

My work spans applied AI, agentic workflows, industrial IoT, and full-stack software. I move between architecture and implementation: designing a retrieval pipeline, integrating a sensor, building an operator dashboard, or making a commerce flow work from end to end.

I care about the seams: where data meets decisions, where a model meets a person, and where a working prototype becomes a system someone can depend on.

How I work

I start with the workflow and the people using it. The right architecture follows from the constraints: the available data, the hardware, the latency budget, the integration surface, and what needs human judgment.

AI is one part of that system. Retrieval needs evidence. Agents need boundaries. Interfaces need clarity. Deployment needs to be repeatable. I’m interested in making those parts work together, then following the result into real use.

Engineering for EU-funded R&D across energy management, sustainable manufacturing, and industrial AI. Work spanning backend services, voice and chat assistants, dashboards, device integration, and deployment infrastructure.

  • AVAROS: voice-first manufacturing assistance, platform adapters, and a FastAPI/React application.
  • HumanEnerDIA: energy analytics, forecasting, conversational access, and operator dashboards.
  • LAUDS: ESP32 hardware, MQTT pipelines, time-series storage, and FabLab field deployments.
